Qualifying

Entries in to the U.S. Senior Open are open to professional golfers and amateur golfers who have reached their 50th birthday by July 31, 2008. Amateurs must have an up-to-date USGA Handicap Index® not exceeding 3.4 under the Men's USGA Handicap System.

Entry applications will be available on the USGA website in 2008. Applications must compete in a sectional qualifying round. These rounds will be scheduled in June or July 2008. Additional information on the sectional qualifying rounds, including dates and locations will be available in spring 2008.
